    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the implementation and operationalization of the organization's DPDP Act compliance framework.
    • Develop, review, and maintain privacy policies, consent notices, data processing documentation, and compliance records.
    • Conduct privacy and compliance gap assessments and recommend corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with Legal, IT, HR, Information Security, and business teams to ensure effective compliance implementation.
    • Monitor regulatory developments related to data privacy and advise stakeholders on compliance requirements.
    • Support data mapping, data inventory management, and governance initiatives.
    • Manage documentation related to consent management, data retention, data processing activities, and grievance handling.
    • Assist in handling data principal requests and privacy-related inquiries.
    • Conduct internal compliance reviews, audits, and awareness programs.
    • Prepare compliance reports, management updates, and regulatory documentation as required.
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations under the DPDP Act, 2023.

    Educational Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.

    Experience & Skills Required

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in legal compliance, data privacy, regulatory compliance, or related legal functions.
    • Strong understanding of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and privacy compliance requirements.
    • Experience in policy drafting, compliance documentation, and regulatory implementation.
    • Knowledge of data governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance initiatives simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in legal research, documentation, and compliance reporting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in implementing privacy compliance programs within corporate environments.
    • Exposure to data protection regulations and privacy governance frameworks.
    • Certifications or training in data privacy, compliance, or information governance will be an added advantage.
