• Description:

  Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor daily production plans to meet targets
  • Allocate manpower and manage shift schedules
  • Ensure optimum utilization of welding machines (Spot/MIG/Projection/Robot)
  • Maintain welding parameters and implement SOPs & WPS
  • Inspect jigs, fixtures, and ensure zero breakdowns
  • Identify and reduce welding defects (spatter, undercut, etc.)
  • Control rejection/rework; achieve PPM targets
  • Train operators on safety, 5S, and SOP compliance
  • Lead cycle time reduction and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain daily reports, OEE data, and ISO/IATF documentation
  • Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores
  • Support customer audits, PPAP & new product trials

  • Production Planning & Shift Management
  • Welding Process Knowledge (Spot, MIG, Robotic)
  • Quality Systems (ISO/IATF 16949, FOA/LOA)
  • Rejection Analysis (Why-Why / Root Cause Analysis)
  • 5S, Kaizen, TPM & Lean Manufacturing
  • MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., Kinetic)
  • Strong Communication & Team Coordination
